In our demanding day-to-day life, we cannot always take care of vital food and our health. For this reason, sporadic detox and regeneration of the body are a valuable measure for health maintenance. In this seminar, we will be dealing with healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle in general. We will shed light not only on our eating habits, but also on the things that are beneficial for body and soul. For more vitality and energy, for better focus and mental strength.

RAPHAEL SCHENKER

Originally an ETH engineer, health and conscience have been shaping the foundation of Raphael Schenker’s freelance activity for more than 20 years. Being a complementary therapist (Swiss diploma) with heart and soul, he accompanies people using emotion and rationality. He passes in his acquired knowledge and his extensive experience in seminars, fasting periods, and in individual coaching.

REGINE SCHENKER

After her professional training as a physiotherapist and after managing her own practice, she soon noticed that was interested in further aspects of the human being and the human health. Accordingly, she received more extensive training in bio energy (after C.G. Jung) and integrative kinesiology. Most impressive for her in terms of healing fast, are the impacts on all different levels.

How can I contact you if I have questions or in an emergency?

You can contact us by phone (+41 41 515 21 37) or send us an e-mail (info@berglodge37.com). During your stay you can also contact our staff on site at any time. We will be happy to help you.

Is it possible to stay only one night at Berglodge37?

We have a minimum stay of two nights.

Why is there a minimum stay of two nights?

The minimum stay of two nights is part of our sustainability program. The arrival and the final cleaning of your room consume resources. The longer your stay, the smaller the ecological footprint of your trip. That's why we have decided on a minimum stay of two nights and are happy if you stay longer with us. Berglodge37 also stands for time out and relaxation. We want our guests to find time to arrive and slow down.

Can children stay at Berglodge37?

The minimum age for staying with us is 18 years.

Why are bookings only possible from the age of 18?

Although we love children, we want to create an ideal place for inspiration, reflection and recreation.

Are pets allowed?

We ask for your understanding that pets are not allowed in our house.

Is it possible to visit you just for lunch or dinner?

Our restaurant is not open to the public.

Can a seminar room be booked without an overnight stay?

Due to our location, our seminar rooms can only be booked when staying with us.

Can the lodge be booked exclusively?

The lodge can be booked exclusively. We will be happy to make you an appropriate offer on request. The use with own personnel, without Berglodge37 employees, is not possible.

Which payment options do you offer?

You can pay cash, with EC or credit card.

Companies can pay by invoice upon request.

At what time is check-in and check-out?

The times for check-in and check-out are as follows:

Check-in: from 3pm
Check-out: until 10am

How do I travel to Berglodge37?

The Berglodge37 can only be reached by cable car from Altdorf. You can find the current timetable at www.eggberge.ch.

The valley station of the cable car is located at Flüelerstrasse 132, 6460 Altdorf. Parking spaces are available next to the valley station.

If you arrive by public transport, you can choose between connections via Altdorf or Flüelen train station. From there it is only a short bus ride to the valley station. The bus stop is called Flüelen, Eggberge Talstation.

Where is parking available and how much does it cost?

Parking is available at the valley station for CHF 8 per day. Parking cannot be reserved in advance.

What is the schedule of the cable car?

The cable car operates every half hour. You can find the current timetable at www.eggberge.ch.

How long does the cable car ride take?

The ride takes 9 minutes.

How much does the cable car ride cost?

A return trip costs CHF 22 per person. By showing your booking confirmation you will receive a 20% discount. GA Travelcard and Half Fare Travelcard are not valid.

Is it possible to buy a group ticket for the cable car ride?

Group rides can be registered with the cable car company and paid for afterwards by invoice. We will be happy to send you the corresponding form upon request.

The cable car is not operating due to strong wind. What do I do?

We are constantly monitoring the weather situation. If there is any possibility that the cable car will not be operating when you arrive, we will contact you in advance to organize your arrival.

How far is it from the mountain station to the Berglodge37?

It is a five to ten minute walk from the mountain station of the cable car to the Berglodge37 along a gravel road. We recommend good shoes and a backpack for your luggage (wheeled suitcases are not recommended).

Is there a taxi service to Eggberge?

There is no taxi service.

Do you provide luggage transport?

Upon request we can organize luggage transport for you (extra charge).

How many people can stay with you?

A maximum of 35 people can stay with us The following room categories are available:

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

All our guest areas and seminar rooms are wheelchair accessible. We also have a wheelchair accessible single room that can be booked on request.

How often will the seminar room be cleaned?

The seminar room is cleaned daily or by arrangement as needed.

Do you have a wellness area?

There are a bio sauna (60°C), a Finnish sauna (80°C) and an infrared cabin at your disposal. Our outdoor shower and a sun deck complete the offer. An HRV device (heart rate variability) is available for a vitality check. With the exception of the vitality check, all offers are included in the package price.

Do you have a massage room and therapists for treatments?

We have a small massage room, but without a permanent therapist.

Do you have any books and games for use during the stay?

In our library you will find a large selection of books. For game nights there are also various games available.

Why do you serve vegetarian menus only?

The vegetarian food concept is part of our sustainability program to reduce our CO2 footprint.

With our creative cuisine, we also want to show that there is no meat needed for delightful meals.

What meals does full board include?

Our full board includes the following meals:

  • breakfast buffet
  • lunch buffet (or lunch package)
  • dinner (tavolata, 3 courses)
  • snacks
  • drinks: coffee, tea and water

Alcoholic and soft drinks are available at extra charge.

What is a tavolata?

A tavolata is a special form of dining, where guests sit together at long tables and the food will be served in large bowls. With this kind of eating together we want to encourage talks and discussions.

Is it possible to eat à la carte?

To avoid food waste, we do not have an à la carte service. Since our kitchen offers seasonal, regional and freshly cooked dishes, we also refrain from long-term menu planning.

What are the meal times?

Meals are served at the following times:

breakfast buffet: 7.30 to 10.00 am
snack: 10.00 to 11.30 am
lunch buffet: 12.00 to 1.30 pm
afternoon snack: 3.00 to 4.00 pm
dinner: 6.30 pm

What is an Honesty Bar?

As Honesty Bar we refer to our bar in the lounge and in the Bergstube, where our guests can help themselves with drinks. The billing is done on a trust basis at the end of the stay. Coffee, tea and water are already included in the price.

What drinks are available in the Honesty Bar?

In our Honesty Bar you can choose from the following drinks:

  • Various red wines
  • Various white wines
  • Various sparkling wines
  • Various beers (with and without alcohol)
  • Soft drinks: Zämä, Vivi Kola
  • Various liquors (on request)
