The BergAcademy organizes seminars around the topic “Vitality for people, environment and companies”.
We offer the ideal place for curious people who want to network with each other.
The Berglodge37 offers a sustainable experience in harmony with nature. Comfort combined with a modern service concept expresses the essence of cosy simplicity. We are a vegetarian adult-only hotel with a minimum stay of two nights. We can only be reached by cable car and although digitization is part of our concept, the personal touch of hospitality is paramount to us.
With us you can simply relax for a few days, book one of our in-house seminars, or organise a seminar yourself. We stand for nature, life and knowledge.
The rooms are deliberately simple, functional and yet cozy. The best natural materials were used in the construction and furnishing. For example, the walls and furniture were made of moon wood, which has proven positive structural properties and contributes to a low-radiation environment. At night, the rooms are free of electrosmog thanks to electricity that can be switched off individually. WiFi is switched off between 10 pm and 6 am.
Perfect sleeping comfort is provided by our specially made beds. All beds are equipped with the bed system of the Swiss manufacturer Leibundgut. The world’s only bed with automatic shape adjustment to any body shape and sleeping position offers perfect sleeping comfort and guarantees the best rest.
In addition, each room has a rain shower, a desk with fixline connection for remote office and a sitting area with a view of the mountain panorama. A television, minibar or telephone have been deliberately omitted. To avoid unnecessary waste, the usual toilet amenities are only available on request. A hiking backpack for day trips and a sustainable drinking cup made of recycled material to enjoy the fresh mountain spring water from the tap are available.

Our food concept is purely vegetarian. Regional and seasonal ingredients are transformed with much love into creative dishes with international flair. Whenever possible, the ingredients come from organic farming. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style. In the evening we serve a tavolata with three courses. Our restaurant is for hotel and seminar guests only and not open to the public. As part of our efforts to avoid foodwaste, we do not have à la carte service.
For eating all guests sit together at long tables in our Bergstube. In this way, we encourage talks and discussions. Active networking part of our philosophy.
Our Honesty Bar is based on trust. Guests can help themselves to drinks in the lounge or in the Bergstube. Coffee, tea and water are included in the package. Alcoholic beverages and sweet drinks are available for an additional charge. Payment is made at check-out.
Our healthy breakfast buffet offers everything you need for a vital start in your day.
A light lunch buffet with soup, salads, bread and cheese will energize you for the second half of the day. Optionally, you can pack your own lunch box for your daytrip in the mountains.
In the evening we serve a three-course tavolata. The main course consists of various dishes that are served to the table in large bowls.

A large library with inspiring books on the subject of sustainability for people, nature and entrepreneurship invites you to browse. The smart self-service concept of the “Honesty Bar” promotes an uncomplicated experience.

The terraces offer space for various activities or a social gathering and can be optimally integrated into the program for seminars and workshops.
A fire ring makes cooking an experience and is available for group events.
The promotion of vitality is our mission. The beauty of the surrounding nature is the best kind of wellness. Our two saunas and an infrared cabin further help to slow down. These are connected to the outdoor terraces, where there is a sun deck and a cold water shower. Our panorama deck can also be used for yoga and other physical exercises.
Our HRV (heart rate variability) device is available for a vitality check.
A bio sauna (60°C) and a Finnish sauna (80°C) with a panoramic view invite to slow down.
Two bright and functional rooms equipped with the latest technology are available for seminars. The rental is on a daily basis. On the day of arrival and departure half-day rental is possible.
A HRV (heart rate variability) device allows for an on-site vitality check (MESCAN, at an additional cost).
The bright seminar rooms are equipped with all the necessary technical installations and mats are available for physical exercises.

The Berglodge37 is located in Eggberge, a car-free sun terrace at 1’500 meters above sea level. We can only be reached by cable car from Altdorf/Flüelen (Uri) every half hour in nine minutes.

It is a five to ten minute walk from the mountain station of the cable car to the Berglodge37 along a gravel road. We recommend good shoes and a backpack for your luggage (wheeled suitcases are not recommended).
Here you will find neither shopping facilities nor artificial tourist attractions apart from a ski lift, only pure nature and the breathtaking view of lake Uri in the sunniest corner of the canton.
Nature observation and longer hikes along the wild haymaking trail on the Rophaien or on the Schächentaler Höhenweg towards the Klausenpass are popular.
Paragliders appreciate the winds from the valley and mountain bikers head for Hüenderegg.
Also popular is the Schächentaler Höhenweg in the direction of the Klausenpass, the traverse via Schön Chulm into the Riemenstaldental or the ascent of the Rophaien.
